Wavelength lockers

Wavelength lockers

Wavelength lockers control feedback of dwdm on the 10-GHz itu grid. A single locker can be used for all 40 itu channels, without the need for electrical power or thermoelectric cooling. Two versions are available: one is a passive 2-port unit that can be integrated into customer-designed laser wavelength monitoring systems. The second is a hybrid cassette that contains a tap and two detectors for simultaneously monitoring laser power and center wavelength. Total wavelength accuracy is better than 5 GHz.
