Passive amplifier module

The cpam1480 series compact passive amplifier module contains a tap coupler for input signal monitoring, an optical isolator to prevent amplifier oscillation, and a 1480/1550-nm wdm for forward pumping of an active fiber. This no-splice hybrid assembly has two tap couplers in the output stage--one for forward and one for backward signal monitoring. The 50 ¥ 56 ¥ 15-mm device has an operating temperature of 0° to +50°C. A 980-nm version is also available.
