Subscriber systems laser diode

The Mini-DIL dual inline laser diode is designed for use in high-bandwidth subscriber optical-data networking systems. Featuring an output power of 0.4 mW at a 1310-nm frequency wavelength, the device provides data transmission speeds of up to 622 Mbits/sec. The 8-pin plastic diode complies with the Bellcore983 specification for temperature tolerances by offering a -40 to +85C operating range. The diode is available for $60 each in quantities of 10,000.
