Multichannel wdm test system

The IQ-2400 wdm laser source, consisting of dfb lasers supplied in quantities of 8 or 16 and at customer-specified wavelengths, is designed to be used with the IQ-200 optical test system. Its applications include testing of wdm systems and subsystems, such as edfas; measuring optical power loss or gain as functions of channel wavelength and power; calculating isolation and crosstalk to ?1 nm on both sides of itu-t channel wavelengths; measuring channel-adding/dropping effects; and determining polarization-dependent loss or gain effects.
