MU-type SC connectors

The HMU Series MU-type plug-in connectors are suitable for optical terminal equipment, measuring instruments, and optical relay racks or back panels. The connectors are half the size of SC-type connectors, but they use the same fastening mechanism, feature push-pull locking, and provide the same insertion loss specifications as the SC. For singlemode at a 1300-nm wavelength test, insertion loss is 0.5 dB or less, and for graded index at the same wavelength, insertion loss is 0.3 dB or less. Reflection attenuation for singlemode at 1300-nm is 22 dB or greater (point of contact) or 40 dB (super PC). For graded index, reflection attenuation at 1300-nm is 22 dB or greater.
