A new fiber-optic network products company was formed by Gerry Pesavento, former director of sales and marketing for DiCon Fiberoptics Inc. (Berkeley, CA). The new venture, Alloptic Inc. (Davis, CA), will supply equipment, including optical-network switches, WDM equipment, fiber monitors, wavelength converters, and other custom fiber-optic networking products.
