Movaz Networks and Flextronics enter strategic manufacturing service agreement

Movaz Networks, a provider of "Managed Wavelength Service Platform" for Metro Edge, Access and Core applications, announced a strategic manufacturing service agreement with Flextronics, an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider. This agreement secures 250,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing, systems assembly, test and integration facilities for Movaz's RAY optical networking product line.

In addition to its manufacturing agreement, Movaz has opened sales offices in North America, Europe and Asia, and has launched a comprehensive customer support program. The planned features of this program include the ability for customers to use a secure website to access their network designs and configurations, view element detail by serial number, track every module and network component from order through deployment, and download software and documentation.
