Optical-loss test set

OLTS 3-1 portable optical-loss test set provides measurements at 850 and 1300 nm. Although the test set is used primarily for multimode systems, it measures singlemode networks to 16 kilometers. The device features storage of 250 loss readings per wavelength, 2-kilohert¥modulation and detection for fiber identification, automatic wavelength identification, auto-zero reference setting, back-lit display and a rechargeable nickel cadmium battery. The test set also incorporates PCview software.
