A fiberoptic spectrum analyzer can measure the frequency and power output from laser, diode, and LED emission sources or the transmission characteristics of optical materials. It comes in several models and resolutions to cover ranges from 200 to 1600 nm. Software provides measurement functions for wavelength peak, FWHM, centroid, spectral density, and transmission characterization displays.
