Optical systems simulator

OptSim is an optical systems simulator for modeling, validating, and optimizing system design and performance. This stand-alone product comes with a Windows-like user interface and on-line HTML help for use on Unix and Windows NT. The simulator includes a model library of the most-used components in the engineering of electro-optical systems for WDM and digital cable TV. It also supports optical systems such as quasi-RZ and dispersion-managed soliton.
