WDM media converter
The EEX-800 Series WDM media converters transmit 4-channel 100Base-TX/10Base-T signals over a pair of optical fibers, realizing speeds up to 800 Mbits/sec over an optical backbone system without new fiber construction. The system is adapted to full-duplex, half-duplex, 100/10-Mbit/sec fix, and autonegotiation. Maximum transmission distance is 2 km (GI) and 15 km (SM). The converter supports plug-and-play operation. A hot-swappable secondary power supply is available as an option.
