Fiber-optic network services provider Zayo Group says it will supply more than 500 Gbps of IP connectivity to FDCServers.net LLC, which offers unmetered dedicated servers, virtual dedicated servers, and colocation internationally. Zayo will support FDCServers.net in major North American and European metro markets.

FDCServers.net will use Zayo's infrastructure and zColo facilities to offer high-speed bandwidth connectivity nationwide. Initial markets include Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Chicago, and New York City, with six additional markets on tap for later this year.

"Zayo is a perfect match for FDC to deliver the Internet connectivity and the capacity needed to sustain our traffic growth," said Petr Kral, co-founder of FDCServers.net. "FDC's recent expansion into the Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, and Seattle markets and our scheduled deployments in six new European markets scheduled in 2013, combined with significant demand for 1-Gbps and 10-Gbps unmetered servers, have resulted in a tremendous jump in our global traffic."

Zayo offers IP services up to 10G dedicated ports that can be delivered in over 270 markets throughout the U.S. and Europe.
