The Fibre Channel Association, Austin, TX, reports that the Technical Committee X3T11 of the American National Standards Institute and the PT20 Technology Committee of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers are working to develop a unified standard for digital video using Fibre Channel technology. The goal is to provide seamless interoperability between packetized computer- and frame-based professional video environments.
