Zayo offers Amazon Web Services connections in London

Fiber-optic network services company Zayo Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE:ZAYO) says it now offers Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect service to its London fooprint.

Fiber-optic network services company Zayo Group Holdings Inc. (NYSE:ZAYO) says it now offers Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect service to its London fooprint.

Quick Connect, part of Zayo's Tranzact web-based ordering service (see "Zayo Tranzact platform offers quick connection to AWS"), enables customers to connect to AWS via secure, private, high-performance connections. The feature is available to all Ethernet and IPVPN customers.

"Building on the existing relationship and therefore facilitating easier and quicker access to AWS for Zayo customers is important to help enable secure cloud solutions," said John Real, vice president of Strategic Channels. "Zayo will continue to maximize the advantages of the cloud for its customers which includes providing big bandwidth and secure, reliable fiber connectivity for their strategic cloud requirements."

Zayo, an Amazon Partner Network (APN) Technology Partner, has offered direct connect to AWS since 2011.
