Under the terms of the two-year agreement, dsc will integrate Sentient`s asap@ (Any Service on Any Port at Any Time) technology into dsc`s dexcs Synchronous Optical Network-capable narrowband crossconnect system. The integration will allow dsc`s 3/1/0 digital crossconnects to perform termination, switching, and protocol interworking of multiple Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Frame Relay, and Internet Protocol connections on a DS-0 (64 kbits/sec) channelized DS-3 (44.736 Mbits/sec).
