MATP-10025 MACOM PRISM™, 100G Serial PHY

Feb. 20, 2019
MACOM's PRISM device is a 100G PAM4 Ethernet PHY with integrated DSP and forward error correction (FEC) functionality designed to enable single-lambda 100G transceivers. An inexpensive yet highly integrated device, PRISM offers low latency, low power, and a small footprint package, with an integrated linear modulator driver and onboard management processor. The DSP-based equalizer supports duplex fiber 100-Gbps optical links up to 10 km over single-mode fiber. The low-latency FEC engine provides IEEE-compliant error correction for 100GBASE-DR modules.
