Active media converters

TransOptix TX1000A active media converters change electrical signals that are normally transmitted over Category 3, 4, or 5 copper cabling to optical signals for transmission over fiber-optic cable. Initially available are the TX1000 and TX9000 series for ieee 802.3 10Base-T-to-fiber-optic conversion.
