SEPTEMBER 18, 2008 -- SENKO's (search for SENKO) new transparent SC adapter design offers providers and installers a way to effortlessly locate half-latched or unlatched connectors. The clear adapters allow installers to spot the problem area by sight or by creating a laser light path with an LED. Once the break in the connection is found, workers can quickly reconnect unlatched connectors, restoring connections in a timely manner.

SENKO says its transparent adapters are held to the highest standards, just as its standard SC adapters, and are compliant with Telcordia, ANSI, TIA/EIA, NTT, and JIS specifications. Other features of the transparent SC adapters include high-precision alignment, low insertion and return loss, and flange options. It also features a compact design.

SENKO will have samples of the transparent adapter in their booth at the Fiber To The Home Conference in Nashville, TN, at booth #710.
