OE Solutions extends 40-km SFP+ to industrial temperature range
SEPTEMBER 19, 2008 -- OE Solutions recently introduced its industrial temperature-operating SFP+ transceivers for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10-GbE) 40-km reach applications.
SEPTEMBER 19, 2008 -- OE Solutions Co, Ltd. (search for OE Solutions), supplier of optoelectronic transceivers for wireless and wireline optical communications, recently announced the introduction of industrial temperature-operating SFP+ transceivers for 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10-GbE) 40-km reach applications.
According to the company, this 40-km-reach SFP+ is compliant with IEEE 802.3ae 10G BASE-E, the SFP+ MSA, and digital diagnostic SFF 8472 Rev10.2 while operating from -40 ° C to +85 ° C case temperature. This 1550-nm transceiver is also RoHS compliant and has a typical data rate of 10.3 Gbits/sec with a link budget of greater than 15 dB.
The RSPX0SER-IT5 10-Gbit/sec 40-km SFP+ is the newest addition to OE Solutions' industrial temperature (IT) 10-Gbit/sec SFP+ and XFP module series, which also includes the RSPX0SLR-IT3 10-km SFP+; RTXX0SER-IT5 40-km XFP; RTXX0SLR-IT3 10-km XFP; and RTXX0SS1-IT3 2-km XFP.
