OCTOBER 28, 2009 -- TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. has announced a new radio-frequency-over-glass (RFoG) amplifier for optical receivers as part of the company’s new TriAccess line. The announcement was made in conjunction with the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in Denver, CO (Oct. 28-30, 2009). The new amplifier performs with less than half the equivalent input noise (EIN) of current solutions. "We believe TAT7457 will meet a critical need by enabling manufacturers to significantly extend the RFoG system link budget," claims Brian Bauer, TriQuint product marketing manager for cable and FTTH devices.Visit TriQuint
