EMR firm expands communications with Optimum Lightpath

FEBRUARY 10, 2009 -- SRS, a firm that specializes in hybrid Electronic Medical Record (EMR) products, has doubled the bandwidth and speed of its telecommunications network by selecting Optimum Lightpath as its network provider, the bandwidth provider says.

FEBRUARY 10, 2009 -- SRS, a firm that specializes in hybrid Electronic Medical Record (EMR) products, has doubled the bandwidth and speed of its telecommunications network by selecting Optimum Lightpath (search Lightwave for Optimum Lightpath) as its network provider, the bandwidth provider says.

Headquartered in Montvale, NJ, SRS offers hybrid EMR offerings designed to improve physician productivity, thereby increasing the adoption rate of EMR technology nationwide. SRS relies on its telecommunications network for a wide variety of applications including Internet and voice applications, remote desktop services, product demonstrations, and training and education programs.

SRS upgraded its T1 to carrier-class Ethernet technology and Optimum Lightpath's Intelligent Enterprise Network for its telecommunications needs which has enabled the company to run remote desktop services and point-to-point VPN on its network enabling speedy, reliable access from remote locations at any time, says Optimum Lightpath.
