The Light Brigade grants tutorial distribution rights to IEEE

MARCH 25, 2010 The Light Brigade in Tukwila, Wash., granted the IEEE nonexclusive worldwide rights to market, sell, and distribute Light Brigade Staff Development continuing education materials as part of the IEEE eLearning Tutorials program.

MARCH 25, 2010 The Light Brigade in Tukwila, Wash., granted the IEEE nonexclusive worldwide rights to market, sell, and distribute Light Brigade Staff Development continuing education materials as part of the IEEE eLearning Tutorials program.

This learning program, part of the IEEE Expert Now platform, allows individuals, corporations, universities, government agencies, and other parties access to and use of The Light Brigade’s tutorials.

IEEE Expert Now has been approved as an authorized provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), and all Expert Now eLearning Tutorials qualify for Continuing Education Units.

The tutorials explore topics ranging from the basics of fiber optic theory and technology to advanced subjects such as active and passive device technologies.

Each of 24 topics is approximately one hour of digital content that focuses on a specific fiber optic technology, product series, or discipline. Each tutorial features animations, graphics and live footage organized into video chapters that can be watched individually or in a group setting.

The tutorials are designed as an educational tool and include knowledge quizzes. Each tutorial has been peer reviewed for inclusion in the IEEE eLearning library of tutorials.
