The pgr 20106 singlemode receiver suits stm-16 (2.5-Gbit/sec) long-haul applications and other extended long-haul links up to 600 km in wdm systems with fiber amplifiers. The receiver has an avalanche photodiode and a low-noise GaAs mmic preamplifier. The device comes in an hermetic 14-pin butterfly package and has a typical bandwidth of 1.7 GHz. Sensitivity is typically -33 dBm and overload is -6 dBm. It is footprint and pin-out compatible with industry standards, enabling multiple sourcing to users.
