Inphi Canopus 7-nm DSP Enabling 400G Coherent Pluggables

Feb. 20, 2020
Canopus paves the way for an industry-wide paradigm shift in deployment models by enabling low-power and high-density QSFP-DD, OSFP and CFP2-DCO coherent pluggable modules.
Inphi says its Canopus coherent DSP is the industry’s first merchant 7-nm coherent DSP. Canopus paves the way for an industry-wide paradigm shift in deployment models by enabling low-power and high-density QSFP-DD, OSFP and CFP2-DCO coherent pluggable modules for cloud and telecom customers, the company asserts.

Judge’s comment: “This DSP offering is very timely and fits into the up-and-coming 400G coherent ecosystem. It enables the wider implementation of standards that are just now being completed.”
