Transmitter and receiver modules

The 2000 airpak series of digital fiber-optic transmitters and receivers facilitates the interface between standard ecl or pecl logic families. The TL 2000 transmitter series has a high-stability, uncooled, singlemode fiber-coupled laser, which is controlled by a temperature-compensating, asic laser driver. The transmitters feature output power from -10 to -3 dBm and wavelength options of 1310 and 1550 nm. The RT 2000 receiver series has an InGaAs, wide dynamic range, and transimpedance optical front end. Sensitivity exceeds -38 dBm at 155 Mbits/sec and -32 dBm at 622 Mbits/sec when used at 1300 nm in Sonet applications.
