Laser driver

The max3667 3.3V or 5V laser-diode driver suits sonet/sdh applications operating to 622 Mbits/sec. The unit features automatic power control to compensate for changes in the laser efficiency due to temperature effects and aging. The driver accepts differential pecl inputs and provides single-ended bias and modulation currents for the laser diode. An internal, temperature-stabilized reference voltage simplifies the external programming of these currents. The device comes in a 32-pin tqpf package and operates at -40 to +85 C.
