Eoptolink offers SFP56-DD optical transceivers for 400G DR4 breakout

March 17, 2020
The new optical modules complement the company’s 400G QSFP56-DD and OSFP optical transceivers for 4x100G breakouts.

Eoptolink Technology Inc., Ltd. (SZSE: 300502) says it is shipping SFP56-DD optical transceivers for data center 400G high-port-density breakout applications. The new optical modules complement the company’s 400G QSFP56-DD and OSFP optical transceivers for 4x100G breakouts.

The new SFP56-DD devices join Eoptolink’s DR1, FR1, and LR1 single-lambda 100G QSFP28 modules for 4x100G breakout. The SFP-DD modules are available in DR1, FR1, and LR1 versions. The company says it has collaborated with Nokia to complete what Eoptolink terms the first ever single-lambda 100G SFP56-DD optical transceiver module application in the Nokia 7750 SR series routers.

The SFP56-DD line includes:

  • EOLSD-131HG-O-5H-36: single-mode (SM) SFP56-DD 100G for 500 m, MSA and RoHS compliant, <3.5 W
  • EOLSD-131HG-O-02-36: SM SFP56-DD 100G for 2 km, MSA and RoHS compliant, <3.5 W
  • EOLSD-131HG-O-10-36: SM SFP56-DD 100G for 10 km, MSA and RoHS compliant, <3.5 W.
