Singlemode transceiver

The Model 374 10Base-T transceiver is compatible with singlemode fiber-optic transmission for distances exceeding 9 mi. The transceiver can be used with any hub offering singlemode capability to link together lans or can be used in pairs to provide communications over distances beyond 14 km. The electrical signals of the port are converted to optical signals and driven over fiber cables. Five leds indicate information about the fiber-optic link monitor, fiber traffic, twisted-pair link monitor, twisted-pair traffic, and power. The 1.5 ¥ 4 ¥ 1-inch unit has power supplied by a wall-mounted adapter that provides 12V DC.
