Bookham Technology, Oxfordshire, UK, is teaming up with Rikei Corp., Japan, in an effort to develop relationships with companies in the Japanese optoelectronics industry. The two have an agreement in which Rikei will distribute Bookham`s optical transceiver products, including the bkm 2400 wdm dual-wavelength transceiver and active silicon integrated optical circuit products. Meanwhile, the company announced that its most recent investment round, which raised $18.1 million, is its most successful to date.
