Pfcs-100 DIN rail-mounted fiber-optic transceiver supports full-duplex, asynchronous transmission of EIA-232/v.24 data at rates to 72 kbits/sec. The unit implements advanced digital encoding, parity checking and error correction in Asic technology. It transmits over duplex plastic optical fiber with range limits of 150 meters and operates from 24V DC power. The transceiver costs $135.
