OC-12 transceiver

The OC-12 fiber-optic transceiver provides logic-to-light serial data transmission over a fiber-optic path, using 1300-nm sources and detectors in a duplex SC package. This 9-pin package offers an industry-standard form factor that allows for upgrades from OC-3 modules. Singlemode versions suit increased distances for telecommunications and network backbone applications. Multimode versions are for shorter-run LAN designs.
