Precision Optical Transceivers (Precision OT), a system engineering company focused on optical transceivers and related active/passive optical components, has added a line of fiber-optic jumpers to its product roster. The company also has created a fiber jumper configurator that customers can access via the company’s website.

The fiber jumper configurator functions similarly to a checkout portal. Once a customer selects one or more fiber jumpers, a Precision OT engineer will review the order to ensure that the right type of jumper for the application’s optical transceivers has been selected. The jumpers come with a 10-year warranty.

“At Precision OT, we are always looking for effective ways to ease the procurement process for network operators and administrators in search of reliable, cost-effective equipment,” comments Todd Davis, CEO of Precision OT. “By adding fiber jumpers into our already-extensive inventory of optical networking equipment, we’re proud to become even more of a one-stop-shop for our customers. When organizations buy from us, they can rest assured that they are getting high-quality jumpers that will be optimally compatible with their existing equipment.”
