T1-to-Sonet mapper

The Quad T1 Mapper (QT1M) maps four 1.544-Mbit/sec signals to and from Sonet or SDH formats. The device supports new standard capabilities, including 3-bit RDI, unequipped code detection, and path label mismatch detection. Applications include add/drop multiplexers, terminal multiplexers, and digital-loop carrier and digital crossconnect systems.
