Erbium-doped fiber amplifiers

Four new erbium-doped fiber amplifiers feature adjustable output power over a 3-dBm range. The Model 9110A/B is a 16-dBm version with improved noise performance; the Model 9112A/B is a low- power 14-dBm version; the Model 9120A/B operates at 17 dBm; and the Model 9130A/B is a 20-dBm version that offers higher output power. The units are available with or without optical isolators at the input. Internal optical splitters are also available.
