Line interface unit

The xr-t5897 line interface unit for E1 (2.048-Mbit/sec) rates can be operated in 3.3 and 5V supply environments and withstand 5V input swings while operating at 3.3V. The unit contains seven independent E1 channels, each of which performs the driver and receiver functions necessary to convert bipolar signals to ttl logical levels and vice versa. Primarily targeted for sdh multiplexers, the device features loss of signal detection. It comes in 100-lead tqfp packaging for $20.61 in 1000-piece quantities.
