Philips Broadband Networks Inc., Manlius, NY, will supply approximately 750 miles of fiber-optic and RF transport equipment to Marcus Cable. Marcus Cable will install the equipment over a two-year period to upgrade its network in Morristown, TN. The company will use Philips Diamond Transport transmitters and receivers in an optical transition node application and will add Diamond Net nodes and network amplifiers to the network.
