CENiX announces shipment of its DWDM subsystem

July 19, 2001--CENiX Inc. announced a new subsystem that delivers 10 Gbit/s bandwidth in a single footprint for intermediate and long-reach DWDM and TDM applications.

CENiX Inc., a designer and automated manufacturer of next generation high-speed optoelectronic interfaces, announced the first shipments of a new subsystem that delivers 10 Gbit/s bandwidth in a single footprint for intermediate and long-reach DWDM and TDM applications.

The UNiPAK.10, a highly integrated optical subsystem family, includes a 10 Gbit/s 1.55 (micron) EML optical transmitter, a 10 Gbit/s PIN or APD optical receiver and a 16-channel Serializer/Deserializer.
