Entel Chile has selected Tellabs in Lisle, IL, to supply equipment for expansion of its nationwide fiber network infrastructure. Tellabs is supplying its Martis DXX managed access and network transport system as part of a buildout of Entel Chile`s nationwide digital data network. The system provides crossconnect nodes, flexible multiplexers and other devices governed by advanced network management software that permits centralized or distributed control.
