JDSU adds SAMComplete ITU-T Y.1564 testing to automated field test platforms

JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) has added ITU-T Y.1564 testing to its J-Complete tool set via its new SAMComplete (Service Activation Methodology) automated testing tool for Ethernet service activation. The new capability is aimed at such applications as mobile backhaul and business Ethernet networks.

JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) has added ITU-T Y.1564 testing to its J-Complete tool set via its new SAMComplete (Service Activation Methodology) automated testing tool for Ethernet service activation. The new capability is aimed at such applications as mobile backhaul and business Ethernet networks.

The SAMComplete test is designed to deliver repeatable and rapid pass/fail results for activating multiple Ethernet-based services. As part of the J-Complete series of automated test tools, the feature can be found on JDSU’s T-BERD/MTS MSAM and Transport Module.
