APRIL 1, 2008 -- Shenick Network Systems (search for Shenick), a provider of per-flow IP communication test and monitoring systems, says that its diversifEye10G has been selected by Procera Networks for product performance verification.

Procera, a provider of deep packet inspection (DPI) products for traffic control, service creation, and network protection, will use Shenick's diversifEye10G to validate product performance and secure accuracy of new signatures for peer-to-peer (P2P), IPTV, VoIP, and Web applications. Procera's Packet Logic series of DPI products are designed to allow telcos, ISPs, cable operators, emerging carriers, and educational institutions to gain visibility into network traffic for informed decisions on how to facilitate network investments and package attractive service offerings.

Procera also will use the diversifEye10G to replicate customer sites for acceptance and integration testing.

Alexander Haväng, CTO for Procera said, "Utilizing a high-performance, per-flow test environment makes it possible for us to confirm our exceptionally high levels of traffic and service management. The diversifEye10G is the only per-flow stateful traffic emulation and analysis test system that meets our requirements."
