Optelian expands portfolio to optical test tools
MAY 27, 2008 -- Optelian (search for Optelian) today announced the release of its LightPRO Fiber Test and Turn Up kit, which features a a comprehensive set of optical test and inspection tools in a compact carrying case.Â
According to company representatives, the kit provides nine essential tools for common Test and Turn-up procedures, including a power meter and a dual-light source for span loss measurements, a 400x magnification inspection scope for visual inspection of connectors and jumpers, two visual fault finders for locating fiber and connector faults, and three cleaning tools for connectors and jumpers.
