The additions enable the company to offer repair and calibration services on such equipment as Advantest models D3186/D3286, Anritsu models ME522A/MP1630B/ ME1630B/ MP1632A/ MP1763B/ MP1764A, and Ando AQ4320/AQ4321A/AQ4321D.

Custom-cal asserts the staff expansion helps the company meet the needs of customers who want alternatives to buying new test equipment, including optical spectrum analyzers and bit-error rate test sets.

The company specializes in repairing obsolete test equipment that has lost support options from the original equipment provider. The company also supports a range of test equipment from companies such as Agilent and Ando used in research and manufacture of telecommunication laser and RF products.
