Anue Systems debuts multi-flow 10GbE network emulator

JANUARY 9, 2007 -- Anue Network Emulators are used to validate functionality and performance under real-world network conditions during hardware/software development, network planning, network design, and acceptance testing to assure service reliability and reduce support costs, say company representatives.

JANUARY 9, 2007 -- Network delay and impairment emulation specialist Anue Systems (search for Anue Systems) today announced the immediate availability of multi-flow capability for XGEM, its line-rate 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10-GbE) Network Emulator.

"Multi-flow impairment is essential for verifying applications in a converged network," explains Kevin Przybocki, vice president of sales and marketing at Anue Systems. "As IMS and TISPAN are developed and implemented to support triple-play and additional services, the ability to emulate multiple impairment profiles simultaneously at true line-rate is key to delivering reliable solutions with reduced risk," he says.

Anue Network Emulators are used to validate functionality and performance under real-world network conditions during hardware/software development, network planning, network design, and acceptance testing to assure service reliability and reduce support costs.

The multi-flow capability--already available for GEM, the 1-gigabit Ethernet Network Emulator, and now shipping for XGEM--allows test engineers to define up to 64 network profiles, effectively emulating 64 network clouds per emulator in the test lab.
