Xena Networks: Chimera

Chimera is a network impairment emulator that offer full wire-speed impairment at five speeds up to 100GbE. It is the industry’s only fully integrated traffic generation and impairment solution (Valkyrie & Chimera) and offers the highest port density on the market, says Xena Networks. It costs half the price of competitive solutions, the company adds.

It has several features that go beyond traditional commodity products, which earns it 3.5. The overall features, value, and benefits earn it another full point, for a total score of 4.5. This is an excellent product that serves a valuable role."
