Optical spectrum analyzer
FTB-5200 optical spectrum analyzer tests narrowband WDM systems. The portable diffraction-grating-based unit--which is a module for the FTB-300 universal test system--analyzes optical spectra at 1525- to 1565-nm wavelengths. The unit also characterizes WDM channels, distributed-feedback spectra measurement and transmission characteristics of the passive optical elements. Other modules for the FTB-300 (all plug and play) include multimode and singlemode optical time-domain reflectometers, multitask (automated testing, talkset, visual fault locator) module, and 1䂀 switch.
