Spirent Communications Spirent 400G 1U Appliance

Feb. 20, 2020
Supporting eight ports in a 1U-high rack space, it enables users to accurately emulate real-world TCP/UDP traffic.

Spirent asserts its new 400G 1U Appliance is the highest-density, lowest-power QSFP-DD tester in the industry. Supporting eight ports in a 1U-high rack space, it enables users to accurately emulate real-world TCP/UDP traffic. The appliance boasts very low power consumption and can scale up to millions of users and connections.

Judge’s comment: “This is a very high-performance product, packing 3.2 Tbps into a 1U-high box. And it only draws the same power as a hair dryer. It also supports the many different modes that a 400G device can have, making it very flexible.”
