The VeEX FX182 Optical Channel Checker (OCC) uses proprietary micro-optics and tunable technology. The OCC consists of MEMS tunable optical filter, photo-detector, and low noise, high-dynamic range electronics. Combining diffraction grating and MEMS tunable filter technologies produces a very precise, stable, and robust design perfectly suited for the highly demanding field test environment. The FX182 includes pre-programmed network test profiles to support legacy and newly emerging WDM network technologies.
