Subscriber-loop analyzer

The t-berd 109XC incorporates icon-driven voice and data testing in a mobile computing platform for local-exchange carriers who supply Internet access. The system features a digital volt ohm meter, transmission-impairment measurement set, open meter, noise meter, time-domain reflectometer, telephone service handset, and isdn handset with bit-error-ratio test. All user interaction is completed by means of a graphical user interface. The closeout test feature allows carriers to define an automated acceptance test to be used when closing trouble tickets or qualifying new service orders for telephone service and isdn. The far-end test results can then be automatically appended to the applicable trouble ticket or service order for future usage. The instrument is priced under $4000.
