Fiber-optic test system

A portable fiber-optic test system for use in laboratories and research applications comprises an SOF131-A light source, LED or laser diode, and a PMS-1 synchronized optical detector. The light source transmits 850-, 1300- and 1550-nm wavelengths and frequency modulations of 270 Hz, 1 kH¥and 2 kHz. The power meter displays measurements in watts or dBm over a dynamic range of more than 70 dB.
