Handheld power meter

The FOD-1202 handheld power meter for optical fiber measurement suits cable-TV, telecommunications and data communications applications. Battery lifetime is 1000 hours and temperature range is -30° to +50°C. Germanium and silicon versions are available. This 14.7 ¥ 7.4 ¥ 2.1-cm device measures multimode and singlemode fiber systems and offers triple-wavelength calibration (850, 1310 and 1550 nm for Ge, and 660, 780 and 850 nm for Si). The unit accommodates cable attenuation, connection verification, connector losses and passive optical component testing. An adapter, manual and padded carrying case are included.
